Position Overview
As a Business Development Associate/Assistant Manager at Magi, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy. With 1-3 years of experience, you will leverage your expertise to identify, nurture, and convert new business opportunities using platforms like LinkedIn, professional services networking sites, and other sources. Your efforts will directly contribute to our expansion and success in serving these markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients who can benefit from our services.
- LinkedIn Outreach: Develop and execute a LinkedIn lead generation strategy to target clients.
- Professional Network Expertise: Utilise professional service platforms such as PeoplePerHour and Upwork, to generate leads, actively respond to proposals, and secure projects for our consulting services.
- RFP Tracking: Continuously monitor various sources for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by potential clients, and efficiently respond with compelling proposals.
- Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs, and positioning Magi as the ideal solution.
- Sales Generation: Collaborate with the team to craft effective proposals, quotes, and strategies tailored to meet clients’ specific requirements, ultimately driving sales.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 -4 years of relevant experience in business development to client servicing within a consulting or business services firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong business development and client engagement skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to generate leads using online platforms, particularly Upwork and LinkedIn.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team.
